The Worldwide Fistula Fund is registered as a 501c3 charitable organization with the Internal Revenue Service.  Our Tax Identification Number is 36-4005245.  If you would like further verification, e-mail us, and we can send you a copy of our IRS documentation.  Our UK branch is currently applying for similar tax-exempt status in the United Kingdom. 

Since our organization first began as the Worldwide Fund for Mothers Injured in Childbirth, we have been committed to keeping administrative costs low.  We have no paid administrative staff, and our administrative costs have been largely limited those associated with this web site and correspondence.  Even the web site project has been done with donated expertise and a lot of volunteer effort.  We don't maintain a physical office.  Our passion is for women with childbirth injury, and we try to spend your donations accordingly.
